Read on to see which brand offers the best wireless vacuum.
Brush
The brushes here are very different and we have to give the win to Dyson here. While Tineco is great, it’s limited to only cleaning hard floors. Even if it also did carpets, Dyson has a sophisticated brush that really can’t be beat.
Tineco’s brush is excellent for hard floors. Not only does it pick up wet and dry messes, but it remains clean and doesn’t allow hair to easily wrap around the brush. You should have no problem cleaning most messes, and the edge cleaning is great as well. In general, while we prefer the Dyson brush, the Tineco one is amazing.
The Dyson brush is one of the best around. This brush works on both carpet and hard floors. It’s made from stiff nylon that is able to easily dislodge hidden dirt from carpets while also gently cleaning hard floors. Not only that, but it has anti-static carbon fiber that’s able to capture loose particles in the air so they are immediately attracted to the brush.
If you want to clean both carpet and hard floors, then Dyson is the winner here. If you primarily have hard floors then Tineco is great, but Dyson still does a better job.

Dyson V11 Outsize vs Tineco Floor One S3: Suction
It’s really no contest here. Dyson is easily the winner with 6x the suction power. At the same time, this makes sense as you need more power to clean carpets and rugs. While less power is required on hard floors, the extra power does help here as well.
Tineco S3 Floor One has good suction power at 30W. As you may have seen with our other Tineco vacuum reviews, this is often better than many other top competitors. This is more than enough to clean both wet and dry messes from hard floors.
However, Dyson is a premium brand that puts innovation and power at the forefront of their design. On paper, this vacuum has 185W of suction power, which is amazing and puts it at the top of most other vacuums. Not only that, but the iconic cyclone design actually gives you more power than this rating would suggest.
Tineco is good at what it does, but Dyson is significantly better here.

Dyson vs Tineco Floor One S3: Water Tanks
Here’s one area where Dyson can’t compete because it doesn’t have any water tanks, it’s only a vacuum while Tineco is a wet/dry vacuum that can suck up debris or mop.
Tineco floor cleaners use two-tank technology, which basically means that there is one tank for clean water and solution while the other is for dirty water. This is key to cleaning and sanitizing your home. A dirty tank ensures that dirty water isn’t used again for cleaning.
Tineco S3 has a 0.6L clean water tank and a 0.5L dirty tank. This is more than enough to clean multiple rooms, so you should have no problem doing your entire apartment or home before needing to refill. Not only that, but it’s so easy to clean.
If you find yourself mopping frequently or having difficult stains that water could clean better, then Tineco S3 might be right for you.
Tineco Floor One S3 vs Dyson V11 Outsize: Battery Life
We’re back to Dyson mopping the floor with Tineco (well, not literally, only Tineco can mop!), as it offers nearly 4x the battery life compared to Tineco. This is because the Dyson V11 Outsize comes with two batteries. Even if it were only one battery, it would still offer superior battery life.
As cordless vacuum, these both have dedicated batteries that must be charged. While they both last for a good amount of time, Dyson is the better of the two. However, Tineco is also great and should offer more than enough battery life for most people.
How long does the Tineco S3 Floor One battery last? You can get up to 35 minutes from this battery. It will be less if you use the high-power modes, but even then you should get a fair amount of battery life.
How long does the Dyson V11 Outsize battery last? You get a total of 120 minutes of battery life. This vacuum comes with two batteries and each lasts 60 minutes. Even the largest homes can easily be cleaned before both batteries are depleted.
Both are good, but as you can see, Dyson is far better.

Tineco Floor One S3 vs Dyson: Smarts
Here’s another area where Tineco is the winner. Dyson has a great display, but we wouldn’t say it has any smart vacuum features.
Tineco offers app integration with the Tineco app for iOS and Android devices. Simply download the app and pair the two together. It should only take a few moments. This allows you to get health information about the vacuum, special notifications about its performance, and more. It’s like the vacuum can talk to you and tell you exactly what’s going on.
Not only that, but it has iLoop dirt detection technology. This system scans the nearby area and shows you exactly where dirt is. You’ll find that your rooms are significantly cleaner after using this to guide the vacuum.
Dyson has a digital display that shows you the power mode along with the amount of battery time left. While this is handy, we found that Tineco had far more smart features.

What is the Difference Between Tineco Floor One S3 and Dyson?
Curious about what is the difference between Dyson and Tineco Floor One S3? There are quite a number of differences. Dyson won in nearly every category except for the two it offers no features in (specifically water tanks and app integration).
Dyson had a better brush that’s able to clean both hard floors and carpets while Tineco can only do hard floors. Dyson offered nearly 6x the suction and 4x the battery life. While Tineco was good in these categories, Dyson was just significantly better.
However, Tineco won in terms of mopping as it includes a large water tank, and it has better smart features like the app and iLoop dirt detection.
Final Thoughts
So, which is better in our Tineco Floor One S3 vs Dyson V11 Outsize review? It really comes down to what you need. In general, we think Dyson is the better of the two as it’s more versatile, offers better suction, has a better brush, significantly better battery life and is one of the best cordless vacuums around.
However, if you want a wet/dry vacuum or like the smart floor cleaner features, then Tineco is the better of the two.
