Both of these vacuums have wonderful brushes, but one is definitely more versatile than the other. It really comes down to which surfaces the vacuum works on.
If you have mostly hard surfaces like sealed wood, tile, laminate, and more, then you’ll love Tineco Floor One S3. This wet and dry vacuum works on hard surfaces and can vacuum up dry messes while mopping up stains and wet messes. Not only is the brush self-cleaning and able to pick up nearly any mess, but it’s also great at edge cleaning.
Bissell Crosswave X7 is the more versatile of the two as it works on both hard surfaces along with rugs and carpeting. The brush has no problem pulling in dry messes along with mopping stains and wet messes from the floor. It’s pretty good at edge cleaning, though not quite as good as Tineco.
As for pet hair, both are able to vacuum pet hair without getting tangled. We found that Bissell was a little better in this regard, but both performed well.
In general, we would say that the Crosswave X7 Bissell brush was better as it works on multiple surfaces. That being said, the Floor One S3 Tineco brush is good if you only intend on using this on hard surfaces.

Bissell X7 vs Tineco Floor One S3: Suction
One of the best ways to measure suction power is by looking at the watts. This lets you know how much power is going to the motor and how powerful the suction is. In general, higher watts means better suction. It doesn’t always go that way (some vacuums have good power but poor brushes), but this is generally how it works.
These two have similar power ratings, but one is slightly stronger. Tineco is rated at 30W while Bissell is rated at 25W. It’s a relatively small difference, and it’s a little overshadowed by how Bissell works on different surfaces while Tineco is only good for hard surfaces.
In fact, we’d say that power matters most on carpets or with tough stains. If it’s just picking up dry messes (like cereal, rice, or loose dirt), then you don’t need as much power.
So while Tineco is stronger, we have to give this a tie. Not only do they have nearly the same power rating, but Bissell pulls a little ahead just because it can work on multiple surfaces.

Bissell Crosswave X7 vs Tineco Floor One S3: Water Tanks
Mop and vacuum combos like these need water tanks to ensure they can mop and power through tough stains. The vast majority of models have two water tanks. One is for clean water while the other is to collect dirty water. In general, the two should be about the same size to ensure the vacuum can suck up all the water it uses.
Both of these have a two-tank system and they are roughly the same size. One does win, but only by a small margin.
The Tineco S3 water tank is 0.6L for clean water and 0.5L for dirty water. On the other hand, Bissell Crosswave X7 water tank is 0.5L for clean water and 0.4L for dirty water.
That’s only a 0.1L difference between them. While Tineco wins, it’s nearly a tie. You can clean a little bit longer with Tineco, but not significantly longer.

Tineco Floor One S3 vs Bissell X7: Battery Life
Wireless mop and vacuum combos run completely on their dedicated battery. They only run as long as the battery lasts, then you must charge it to use the vacuum again. While some early wireless vacuums had poor battery life, we can say that both of these models have very good longevity.
While it’s close, Tineco wins with an extra 5 minutes of battery life. It’s close though.
So, what is the battery life? Tineco S3 battery life clocks in at 35 minutes while Bissell Crosswave X7 battery life is 30 minutes. As you can see, both are good, but Tineco is just a little better.
Unlike with the water tanks where Tineco only won by a small fraction, we would say the extra 5 minutes is good enough to quickly clean a whole other room, so we consider this a bigger victory.
Now, you must remember that this is the maximum amount of time you’ll get. Both of these have different power settings. If you place them on higher power settings (like for tough stains or big messes), then you’ll get less time with them. Both are able to adjust their power automatically, or you can choose the power setting manually.
In either case, Tineco wins here. Crosswave X7 Bissell battery life is good, but a little less than Tineco.

App integration is becoming the norm with new appliances. This gives you more control and info through your smartphone as long as you use the dedicated app. While neither vacuum requires the app to work, it’s beneficial because you get more info from your vacuum.
